Mr. Pitts attended Auburn University where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Agricultural (Biosystems) Engineering. While in attendance at Auburn, Mr. Pitts was a member of Gamma Sigma Delta, the honor society of the College of Agriculture and Alpha Epsilon, the national honorary for the Agricultural Engineering discipline. Mr. Pitts received his J.D., cum laude, from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he was an associate editor and published member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and a member of Curia Honoris. Mr. Pitts is licensed to practice in all Alabama State and Federal Courts as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Attorney. Mr. Pitts is also a licensed EIT in the State of Alabama.
